AIDS is today the leading cause of death for adolescents in Africa and the second cause of death among adolescents globally. Adolescent girls, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, are disproportionately affected by new HIV infections. In South Africa, home to the world's largest HIV epidemic, more than 860 girls become infected with HIV every week, compared to 170 boys.
Commentary and analysis to persuade people to become socialist and to act for themselves, organizing democratically and without leaders, to bring about a world of common ownership and free access. We are solely concerned with building a movement of socialists for socialism. We are not reformists with a programme of policies to patch up capitalism.
